I loved all of Seagal's older flicks like "Out For Justice", "Marked For Death","Above The Law", "Hard To Kill", and "Under Siege"...he really nose dived during the late 90s and 2000s he made one decent film...the guy can still fight like nobody's business and I for one am looking forward to this film...we could use an American hero on film these days.
Unlike Stallone's decision to do Rambo 4 against neo-nazi's picking on Indians.

If it really IS non-PC nothing would please me more than to see the Left go into fits of rage over an assault on the Religion Of Peace. TM

You mean Seagal has given up on lame scripts written by enviro-whackos?
Evidently, it's time to make a film that will appeal to a broad, America loving audience, and to replenish the "ole" bank account.

Ever since he lost "The Women in Red" for the knocked up nanny, I have written him off.

His latest movie is awful. I just rented it and could only watch the first half hour of it. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. That and Terminator 3.

Any guy that beats up his wife will never be a hero of mine. His popularity dove when the fact that he was smacking around his wife (Kelly LaBrock) hit the news. He's a fat pig and couldn't lift his leg high enough to pee on a fire hydrant.

Early movies, great. Later movies, ehh... not so great. I hope the script IS solid and provides some good entertainment. Better not have any cartoons in it or the Muslims will REALLY get pissed.
BTW, ever notice he runs like a girl?
If he was coming after me to kick my @ss, I know I'd run like a girl.

Sounds like he comes back to life and tries to get back on that 747 in "Executive Decision"

You know, you almost have to respect the Hollywood lefties' forgoing profits in service to their anti-American ideology. Think about it. How hard would it be to come out with an interesting action-thriller where the villians were blood-thirsty Muslim savages and the good guys were handsome (and beautiful), upright American patriots? The thing writes itself. With a great director, a popular leading man, some good character actors in supporting roles, a lively script, and lotsa shit flyin' around, it would be a box office bonanza! And yet they don't do it. Mel Gibson, call your office!

The original
Under Siege was an awesome action flick...plus it had Erika Eleniak's ta-tas. :)
The second was pretty good too, I thought.

Sounds a lot like "Executive Decision" - where he only starred in the first few sequences of the film - but it had a similar plot line to this new film.
