Rush? What does he have to do with it? Any thread with the word "Port" involved you get about a thousand responses. This means you have conservatives having heated, sincere, discussions about "something." And because this fact exists, someone did a poor job of explaining why we should give up port operations in six locations of senators who knew nothing about it. Now, who do you think that someone is? Rove? He said he didn't know. Bush? He said he didn't know. Well then, who is left? Is it ours? (noncompliant conservatives) What we can't discuss issues dear to us? We are un-enlightened because we disagree? Spare us.
You are simply not allowed to make intelligent observations like that around these parts any longer, Tulsa Ramjet. I weighed in against a few of Bush's major malaprops this am: Ballooning the Fed w/Education; Homeland Security's lack of security; and, finally, the Port Deal. These are areas I feel Bush has been weak in. If you disagree, so be it: but please, in honor of the intent of the forum, give me a logical argument and I'll think about it. But no, all I got was invective and ad hominum. Some perpetual invoker of LOLLOLLOL took a variety of swipes at me, and her compadres joined in. But not a reasoned counter point, not a new bit of info, or an detailed opposing view in the lot. Well, actually no, there was one poster. I have to review the thread to recall who it was.
