And here I thought the article was about the mob who have not bothered to find out the facts..

LOL! I love that! If only the article was about that!.

What the article suggests to me is the hollowness of "selective indignation" exhibited by those who opposed the DPW deal.

It's apparently more popular with the run with the pack crowd to see Islamist terrorists hiding under every bed, than it is to acknowlege an ally that we need.

The mob, no big deal, the Democrat Party thinks they're just swell as long as the campaign contributions keep rolling in.

There's likely some of that on the pro-xfer side too. Count me as one who had an adverse sensation about COSCO, but not about this deal. Not sure I'd go so far as the label "hollow" in either direction, but I think there is some amount of at least superficial inconsistency that ought to be acknowledged.
