OK, cue Halliburton.

This should have happened in the first place. I can't imagine why they were not invited to bid.

No American company wanted it. Would you want to deal with the liability issues and the Teamsters?

Do you have any evidence that Halliburton was "not invited to bid?"

Because when you sell a business, to do NOT go begging, hat in hand, to other companies. to please, please, PLEASE buy me.

DPW offered to buy out P&O ( a BRITISH company ) and they accepted that deal.

Halliburton nor any other American company, were looking to buy P&O.
