I agree, by the way some speak, one would think we just lost our best ally in the WOT, and our economy is going to collapse. As far as potentially losing a key future staging ground for an attack on Iran...we will have a much better coalitition for an Iran than we did for Iraq, should an "event" occur.
I am very glad that this deal will not happen, and hope that the UAE could understand why Americans were concerned about the deal, they should be able to realize why we were concerned.
Congress could do a lot more, the week is not over. They could undo several years of diplomacy with China, India, and Russia before the weekend.
