Even one ME country that will do business, including welcoming the US Navy, is a plus. Losing such, especially as they need not have been driven off so pointedly, makes the task that much harder.

What have we lost? The US Navy is still there or is this just vengeful wishful thinking on your part. Can't you at least until something actually happens before you say I told you so?

It is a plus only if they have proven themselves to be totally trust worthy. They have not IMO, and have a long way to go. Reading sites like
jihadwatch.org shows why. Yes they seem like
such good boys - as long as they are getting their way - but look out if they aren't!!
