States have the last say. This law will most likely be struck down, but not because it is illegal, but because the SCOTUS acted illegally with roe vs wade.ABSOLUTELY. Maybe it's time for state governments to start using a little "civil disobedience" of their own (if that's the proper phrase) & completely ignore the SCOTUS when or if they do strike down the South Dakota law. Didn't Thomas Jefferson say something to the effect of "...let them enforce it" re: the SCOTUS?
The states need to begin to assert their 10th Amendment right to govern themselves for a change!

The creeping infringement by the Federal Goverment in states' internal matters is unsettling. That said, if many states ban abortions outright, it will create new problems as well. I think the status quo where abortion before viability is legal, but with reasonable state regulation, is okay for now.
