In Alaska, the Anchorage Daily News reports today that the Code Pink march in Anchorage featured a sign that called for the assassination of President Bush.

According to the Daily News, the sign said "Save USA: Dick, take George hunting."

Can't stand this group but that's hardly a call for assasination.....That's easily classified as satirical political speech.....

Let's be consistent.....

I agree. Now, if they had said, "Ted, take George for a drive", then we'd know they were serious...

THis is just an example of a bunch of punks, rather than a call for assassination I would say. Now the fruits down here in Florida, they literally said he should be shot.

Agreed, but it's standard hypocrisy for this group to call for unconditional surrender in the WoT in the lofty name of "peace and non-violence", yet they satirically call for violence to be perpetrated against George Bush.

Their descriptive tag as "whackos" is well-deserved.

Just because the brainless moonbat thought so...

I would HARDLY call this a call for an assasination. Its an attempt at a joke, its tacky but it is quite foolish to think of it as anything more than that.

Assassination jokes against U.S. presidents are never funny, especially in public. Nor should they be acceptable in public debate. I take these things seriously coming from these leftists. They are hoping someone tries to take President Bush out.

It follows a long line of 'jokes', artwork, books and plays all calling for President Bush to be assassinated. You may think it's tacky. I think it's worse than that. It's an artful way of calling for Bush's murder.
