Hum Bush closed a base critical to our off shore national defense in the Caribbean and no one said boo about it. It was done in spite and all good Bush supporters cheered it on as way to go W. You sure showed them. Yea right. Swamp land for sell. I'd rather see Rosie Roads opened back up and this one closed. When was the last time a Navy ship was attacked in port while in the Caribbeans? Now that closure was a blunder we may well regret.

I can't fault Dubai for their reaction. It takes 2 to make a partnership and the Prez realizes this, whereas the Dims/MSM/rebellious Repubs seem to think we can snub whoever it feels good to snub and not incur any repercussions.

The Prez isn't doing a good job of selling it. He is acting like an autocrat instead, and it's backfiring on him. His poor record of securing our borders doesn't help either.

I knew from the beginning that the WOT would require Pres. Bush working with some Muslim countries who were more enlightened than the others and this is what Bush promised from the beginning. This is just good war strategy and it has succeeded to this point.

The UAE submitted to an extra 45-day review. They've followed our laws to the letter, and expect to be treated fairly. We are a country of laws, not of hysterical girly-men.

The house just said "We don't want to wait for the facts". They simply said UAE is unfit to own anything of consequence, and can't be trusted.

You should realise that these leaders are probably receiving DEATH THREATS on a daily basis because of their work for us in the war on terror.

So what did Rush say? So far all I've seen on this thread is remarks that he "gave away the plan" with no summary of what he said.
