This move appears to force the court to only look at equality under the law - not whether or not there should be abortion. If successful, it will probably weaken support for abortion among women. I have to conclude those on this board who oppose it are either pro-abortion or really bad chess players. If the court must rule that whatever solution the government allows must be adjudicated between sperm donor and egg donor because of the equal protection clause that is a step toward seriously reducing support for abortion. You can't seem to think more than three moves ahead - I won't put my bishop there I'll lose it.
