The Compost is still trying to figure out were we got that negative perception. Maybe it was on 9/11? Nah, that couldn't be it. Nope, that's not it. Most folks recognized 9/11 as the work of some isolated whackjobs.
The negative perception of Islam is growing for the simple reason that Muslims have been behaving very badly, over really stupid things.
The watershed event is their ridiculous over-reaction to the cartoons.
