There are quite a few types of individuals that the military (wisely) will not take.
It's too much to explain here, but if you had ever been in the military, you would understand.
No one's forcing them to take the money.
Mother nature discriminated against women. The military is trying to protect them. Gays are too light in their combat boots to be soldiers, although they can be vicious as hell at times in civilian life.
