Yet his case was handled no differently than that of any other American caught acting for the enemy in a time of war.
Personally, I'm not troubled by his experience. Not at all.
All wars proceed along unknown (indeed, unknowable) timetables, for as long as it takes. Why should this one be any different? Why should we not be prepared to fight it?
