That's pollster BS. Not that the actual opposition isn't high, but the poll numbers are manufactured and fed back to us like willing baby birds.
There is a large majority that wants illegal aliens out of the country. I don't see Congress stepping all over themselves to act on that.
It is said that 80% of Americans believe that there will be a full fledged civil war in Iraq. Don't mean that that will happen.
