These figures are more wrong the further south you go. Example; in Texas probably 90% of workers in the lawn care and construction business' are illegals.

Teens on summer jobs, college students on break. Like I did when I was in that category. Plus technology, not to mention the segment of the population that are natural born itinerants.

What about what happens to a community that is mostly illegal. I bought a brand new house 2 years ago in Kansas, in a nice community. Now things have changed. My kids can NOT communicate with ANY kids on the block they all speak spanish, and do not care to learn ENGLISH. The only other white legal person on my street is my brother. We live two blocks from a school, at this school the focus on teaching english to spanish speaking kids, more than teaching the kids who know english the things they need to know.

So think about my and every other kid in my community's future when you say lets keep the illegals here.

So i have noticed.Why should the people that are here legally, that pay taxes, and are struggling to live "the american dream" be taken care of. Lets worry about the illegals, someone has to protect them, blah, blah, blah. I'm so tired of this crap.

I am saying that any savings are negated by having the United States of America turned into Mexico.

If we Americans wanted all those Mexicans in this country, we would change to law in order to bring them into the country in great numbers. Instead, we have made laws that say that they cannot come into the country and they come anyway.

If you think having so many illegal immigrants is so wonderful for America, explain that fact to Americans and have us change the law so that even more of them come into the country.

Without illegals, agriculture producers would have no choice but to adapt or die, therefore automating production.

If the price of labor goes up, demand on the productive part of the economy goes up, too.

Why would the price of labor rise if agriculture producers consolidated or automated their operations?

Fact is the United States gains greatly from illegal immigrants.

Fact is that illegals are a national security threat and it's too bad you care more about your pocketbook than the Constitution.

Illegals create great savings in many areas.

Yeah, they save money by not paying U.S. taxes and public services. Plus the money they make they send to their relatives back home via wire transfers. They're not spending the money here. So how is that helping me?

The town i live in Liberal,Kansas is 75% Hispanic, 10% white, 15% other. Huge difference from 5-7 years ago. I hate driving down main street and only seeing Spanish, no English what so ever. In the hospital all the signs are Spanish and then English. Went to H&R block to get my taxes done, the big envelope they put everything in is in Spanish. That same day went home and checked my mail, 4 page flyer from Rent-A-Center, all in Spanish, nothing in English. Same Day went to Walmart, all my Panteen Pro V Shampoo was on clearance, in its place, some Spanish brand of panteen.
Nice to know I'm not alone in this battle though.
