Apparently this is "Girl Scout Week", and the local paper (Beloit, WI) has a full page add for the event. The Girl Scout Promise is printed therein.
What follows is a verbatim quote from the paper.
On my honor,
I will try;
To serve God*
and my country,
To help other people
at all times,
And to live by the Girl
Scout Law.
*The word "God" can be interpreted a number of ways, depending on one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Girl Scout Promise, it is OK to replace the word "God" with whatever your spiritual beliefs dictate.
SO I've decided to help them out and save them some printing costs by reworking the "Girl Scout Promise" to fit their actual beliefs.
On my honor,
I will try;
To serve (Fill in blank)
and my country,
To help other people
at all times,
And to live by the Girl
Scout Law.

Unlike the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts have had lesbian scoutmasters for years.
I wouldn't let my daughter get within 500 feet of a GSA campout.
This has been the GSUSA's policy for quite some time. The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts O.K.'d this, under the specific understanding that the GSUSA was to do this only to allow Scouts to substitute some other deity or spiritual force, and that they were not to use this as a back door to allow atheists to join.
They have become a recruiting ground for feminists, and by extension, lesbians. We will not allow our doughtier to have anything to do with them. Never have.
"Girl" is kind of demeaning. Should be "future strong intelligent womyn."
"Scout" is too warrior-like. How about "cosmic entity of peace"?
"whatever your spiritual beliefs dictate" sure sounds like an open door policy for atheists to me.

Girl Scouts are NOT in any way affiliated with Boy Scouts, by the way.
If you are Jewish, and a Boy Scout, you are required to recite the Boy Scout pledge, but may not allowed to say His name aloud.

What, no * after "country" too? I guess they are still holding out hope for Hillary.
