No, No, Nancy: Republican Group Sees Ethics Violation

(CNSNews.com) - A Republican group that monitors Democrat "hypocrisy" says House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has run afoul of House ethics rules.
The National Republican Campaign Committee points to a recent Washington Post article, which noted that Democratic congressional leaders are not happy with the way DNC Chairman Howard Dean is spending money.
According to that March 5 article, "At a private meeting last month, they let him (Dean) know. Senate Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) challenged the former Vermont governor during a session in Pelosi's office, according to Democratic sources."
"Whoops," said the NRCC: Under House rules, congressional offices and House resources may not be used for conducting meetings on campaign business.
According to a booklet produced by the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct, "House rooms, offices and buildings are considered official resources, and as such, they are not be used for the conduct of any campaign or political activity, including the solicitation of contributions."
"It's no wonder that Nancy Pelosi and National Democrats are using their official government space to talk politics, since it's clear they don't have an agenda or any ideas to work with on government time," National Republican Congressional Committee Communications Director Carl Forti said.
"While publicly attempting to claim the mantle of ethics reform, privately they are violating ethics rules."
Last week, the NRCC accused Rep. Louise Slaughter, a New York Democrat, of violating House ethics rules by directing her congressional staff to prepare a "report" on alleged Republican corruption -- then using that political propaganda to raise campaign cash.

Don't issue a press release - file a complaint!
She needs to ditch the "bubble gum" jewelry. She seems to wear a lot of it.
Shall we take a bet on how long it takes the MSM to report this violation?
I'm not holding my breath on the MSM. Although it really would make my day if she was forced out of office.
You should be with drive-by blinding!!!
Charged~! that should read "you should be CHARGED with drive-by blinding!!!!

Caught with their political panties down, eh? Couldn't happen to more deserving people!
With all those face lifts, why didn't she do a neck lift. That's one of the worst turkey necks I've seen. [/meow]
These people need to be ousted. NOW. What are we waiting for?
Any more facelifts for Nancy and that dimple in her chin will be her navel.
