Rumsfeld says Tehran government sending military to destabilize Iraq
AP ^ | March 7 2006

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says members of the Iranian military have been slipping into Iraq to make trouble.

Rumsfeld says there's been steady, detectable traffic of members of the military across the Iranian border to destablize Iraq. He says "I doubt they're religious pilgrims" and he believes the activity is taking place with the blessing of the Tehran government.

Rumsfeld says, "I doubt members of the Revolutionary Guard move around willy-nilly."

Rumsfeld did issue this warning -- he says Iranian meddling in Iraqi affairs "is something they will look back on as being an error in judgment."

Your full of it. Some of us are not going to wait until the US tanks and is overrun.

You obviously are not from a border state.

Read this before you start saying stupid things.

You can still buy "Gold Cards" for the Iranians from your pocket if you are so labor deprived.

I think one well placed bunker buster in the presidential palace of Terroran should end the debate and pull those radical rag heads back in line.

So what happens when a unit of Iranian regulars meets up with US Army unit?

They wont fight us that way. Yhey will plant IEDs, ambush and snipe at our troops and kill innocent Iraqis. Just like they have been doing.

Yeah, your right, a whole generation of American Construction workers might have to quit eating unrefined American food, lose weight, and go back to work with a wage they could live on if we closed our southern border. Now, what has this got to do with the Iranians? nothing.

It is unclear what your point is. So here's not a bunny with a pancake.

Have you been asleep for the past eight years? Dont you read?

Why do we send GI's to defend borders of other countries when we refuse to defend our own border, and send troops to stabilize other countries lawlessness while refusing to enforce and prosecute laws already on the books here in the USA?
Thats a pretty screwed up sense of priorities.

How many illegals in the USA is enough for you? 30 or 300 million?

But then you support hispandering and cheap labor and a dual set of laws for the peons and for the businessmen.
Got your gold card for your illegals yet?

Forgive me, but I'm really having a hard time connecting the situation in Iran/Iraq and our own border, could you explain?

If we hadn't aborted 40 million babies we'd have the people to do those jobs.

The statement from Rumsfeld is a ten on the "DUH" scale.

Methinks it's time for payback, and not just for our embassy and hostages.

No, this dish should be served cold, very cold.

Oops, I must have been asleep for eight years while I was displaced from my profession by illegal alien labor. If you read what I wrote, and the rest of the thread, and hadn't percieved by some magical way what my priorities are, you would realize that hispanic laborers are not in better physical condition due to a magic diet, that I live in Texas and pay a heavy financial and social cost for the massive amount of illegal aliens running free, choking Wally World, the Emergency rooms, and virtually all service industry labor. Not to mention the criminal cost. Oh, and I am a peon. The rest of your rant, I cannot figure out. Gimme a gold card.

Read the article in link #41 and see how the presidents advisors have handled stateside security. My representative's brother found prayer rugs and diaries in arabic on his property. There are illegal aliens that knock on the post commanders door asking for water at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
I love Rumsfeld, he is doing a great job.
I have been to the AOR repeatedly.
Asking for sacrifices for another country is legitimate.

Bloodshed defending the borders of Iraq from Iran and Syria is the peak of this administration and the Republican party hypocrisy, in my opinion, because it negates all arguments and logic about performing operations in the middle east for security of the continental United States when the back door is WFO.

The administration has proposed "Gold Card" amnesty for all illegal immigrants.

They can close and control the borders of another country after they get control of our own borders.

Read the article referenced in #41 and tell me how well they are doing.

That also sounds like a man with a plan.
