Dana Reeve, wife of the late actor Christopher Reeve, smiles as she holds a tag with the Superman logo which represents the belief that Reeve's vision of a cure will go forward at the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation's A Magical Evening gala in this Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005 file photo in New York. Reeve, who fought for better treatments and possible cures for paralysis through the Christopher Reeve Foundation, named for her late actor-husband, has died, the foundation said. Reeve died late Monday of lung cancer, said Kathy Lewis, President and CEO of the foundation. (AP Photo/Steve Chernin, File)

She is a brave woman who loved her husband and may they both find each other now.

Wow she does look sick in that photo compared to previous photos.
She was a good person, this is so tragic.
Prayers for the family, especially their son.

God bless them both-- Chris and Dana are now together after so many difficult times.
And may God care for their now-orphan child. What a rough start. With God's grace and the care of friends, perhaps he can turn this tragedy to an inner strength.

Here's what I don't understand....lung cancer is a devestating way to die. I watched my brother die of it...and it took awhile. Physically, your body is wrecked. Six weeks ago she belted out a song for a retiring hockey player. My brother could hardly breathe for over a year.
My point is that she looked fine...SIX WEEKS AGO. I just don't understand how it could have taken the toll it did in that short of time. Are there any Doctors or nurses out there who can explain that to me?
