I'm glad you brought this up about parents smoking around their kids. I'm sure there arre millions of kids, like myself who were raised by parents who smoked all the time. We also went to school where the teachers smoked in the building. How come then is childhood lung cancer virtually unheard of? We should have been dropping like flies. This alone convinces me that SHS is a BS excuse.

SHS bothers me since I am a non-smoker.

At one time, I lived in the Los Angeles area. There were times I would go jogging and come back coughing. Later I would find out that the day was a smog alert day, and that people were supposed to not exercise outside.

I think I mentioned jogging and someone told me about the smog alerts...

Someone who moved to Southern California from Chicago had lived there 6 months or more, and then one day it rained. The person then realized that there were mountains all around that they could not see.

SHS bothers me because it is sort of like the people I knew who would put marijuana in cookies and take the cookies to work -- just putting out the cookies and not telling anyone about it...
