So we who do see his cotton candy fluff for what is is -= and what it is not - are jealous?

However you came to that conclusion is puzzling since...

you have no idea what the quality of my art is - where I have shown, or any other criteria to make such assumptions.

Your processes of thinking would seem to be on the same level as Kinkade's "art" - which is probably a very comfortable place for you.

*I* am not an artist. I have never claimed to be. I do know what I like and what is appealing to my eye and what 'moves' me. Kinkade's art doesn't do any of that for me. It's cute, to be sure. Too rigid, though.

Kinkade's made a lot of money at what he does. That is my point. He'll never have to worry about the cost of materials and he'll never be a starving artist.

Having said that, I doubt he'll ever do anything different, or evolve his work. His is art for the masses. No chances taken; none lost.

That's comfort in a comfort zone.
