Hmmm. All this from one data point?

My first thought, too.

Sorta reminds me of a comment my wife made when we saw an NBA game the other night -- one of the Orlando Magic players has what appears to be a really tiny head on his very tall body. We were up in the nosebleed section, and even from up there it was noticeably smaller than the heads of the guys around him.

One wonders what this lady would make of his skeleton....

This is patently absurd.

What is the "modern" brain size? Look at the people around you next time you're on a subway, bus, or plane. Imagine arranging their skulls on a continuum from the little bird-like woman to the big jarhead. What an evolutionary "transition" you could prove -- except that they're all alive at the same time!
