Israel either sells its own technology, or when US tech is involved, with permission

With all due reason that is meaningless.
We do not approve of any arms sales to China, irrespective of whose tech it is, even including the EU.
I am aware that Clinton sold out this country, but surely you aren't citing that as president for the Israeli - China connection.

Israel would not even need an arms industry if it didn't need to produce arms to fight possible wars against enemies who are armed to the gills by the United States.

Now that is hogwash. Our selling arms to any of Israel's enemies ensures that they will never be used against them

Or are you saying that Israel is threatened militarily by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan?

Her enemies are Iran and Syria, and we certainly do not sell arms to them.
In fact, we just wiped Iraq off the board. - not the actions of someone who arms her enemies to the teeth.

Like it or not without the US there would be no Israel, and thats the way that it is and has been since 1955 or so.

"Or are you saying that Israel is threatened militarily by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan?"

Yes, unequivocally.

"According to the annual report issued by the Congressional Research Service, a division of the Library of Congress, only China and India recorded more arms transfer agreements, thus making Egypt the principal arms buyer in the Middle East. The report issued last week in Washington said Egypt recorded $6.5 billion worth of weapons purchases from 2001 to 2004. Israel bought $4.4b. during the same period and Saudi Arabia recorded $3.8b.

For Egypt, which receives $1.3b. in annual US military grants, most of its weapons were purchased from the United States ($5.6b.). Most of this has been for military platforms and weapons, including advanced attack helicopters and fast missile vessels. "

Further the Iraqi Scuds that hit Israeli cities during Gulf 1 were based in part on US technology. Israel did not respond to these direct missile attacks on its cities at US behest. A mistake on the part of both countries IMO.
