Very good observations.
The darkest sides of homosexuality(are there any bright sides?) are conveniently swept under the red carpet in La-La land.
They didn't give Ang Lee an oscar for the picture he should have got one for, as it was clearly good vs evil. So they give him one for Crouching Cowboy Hidden Salami instead.
You can bet your boats he meant to say "boy howdy".
