Lonesome Dove was one of the few books/movies that, when it ended, it left me frustrated. I wanted to turn the page and see what happens next. To me, it was the perfect western.
I was the same way, which is why I looked forward to "Streets of Laredo," but trust me, it's a major disappointment. Better to go on imagining yourself what happened to the characters. You'll probably do a better job than McMurtry did.
