Where does Pukin guarantee a 60-seat majority?

Why is the word "might" so difficult for you to understand?

If a 60 seat majority DID become a reality, then the Dog would be crowing I told you so back on March 5th.

For that matter, I could say we might have an 80 seat majority.

Talk is easy and talk is cheap. Puttin your money where your mouth is becomes a tad bit closer. But the Dog could have simply said I will wager no net loss in seats or a net gain of 3 seats.

But my number, based on the wiggle room you are allowing, is just as valid as his number. We both pulled it out of the air.

Yeah, the GOP might get a 60-seat majority in November. And the Detroit Lions might win the Super Bowl next year. But of the two, I'd give the latter the shorter odds.

I offered him 10-1 odds. For those of you keeping track at home, that means he should take the bet if he thinks the GOP has better than a measly 9% chance of getting the 60-seat majority. But he won't. I think he knows that the prospect is ludicrous.
