I agree, we will keep the house and keep the senate.
My only disagreement is I don't think we will get to 60 seats in the senate.

The way that he has played poker with the 'Rats around election time is something that volumes will be written about someday!!!
By (in effect) 'nationalizing' the election by making it 'all about Dubya', the 'Rats are being set up to be clobered - because when Dubya finally shows his cards and starts campaigning, the American voter goes to his side (realizing that he is the only one who can be trusted with national security and their checkbook)...

If you believe any of the last two paragraphs, it only means that you are dumber than you look...you are dumber than Juan Williams looks...If you are one of those people who believe that the Democrats are going to win on November, you probably also think I have an F-14 available to sell to you on E-Bay... Guess what? I'm pretty certain the Dems will pick up seats in November, and I don't think you have an F-14. Nor am I stupid, nor am I an idiot, nor am I nearly as dumb as Juan Williams looks. I don't want the Dems to pick up seats, but unlike you I'm aware that the universe doesn't always unfold the way I want. I'm not going to stay home on Election Day (so much for your strawman), but I don't allow my personal desires to prevent me from objectively assessing the situation and realizing that we have some very endangered incumbents, and we had some dismal recruiting failures that will give otherwise-endangered Democrats in red states free passes to re-election. Put them together, and I repeat, if you think there's more than a minuscule chance that the GOP will come up with a 60-seat majority, you are higher than a kite.
I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. Are you? C'mon, it'd be nice for me to get a little cash to compensate for the disappointment in November.
Who will they hate when Bush and Cheney leave D.C. in January 2009? They sure will be a loss with those 2 are retired and happily living in Texas and Wisconsin!
