The democrats biggest mistake is they forget Bush isn't running

In the end, when that person walks into the voting booth, it is a vote between what that person knows in his heart and what he thinks in his head. They know a vote for almost any democrat is a death wish for the country in times as these

I agree, we will keep the house and keep the senate.

My only disagreement is I don't think we will get to 60 seats in the senate.

*PROPER*!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't have said it better myself!!

The BEST part is that of all the conservatives who "don't get" what you just described, there is ONE BIG ONE WHO DOES.

His name is.....DUBYA!!!

The way that he has played poker with the 'Rats around election time is something that volumes will be written about someday!!!

By (in effect) 'nationalizing' the election by making it 'all about Dubya', the 'Rats are being set up to be clobered - because when Dubya finally shows his cards and starts campaigning, the American voter goes to his side (realizing that he is the only one who can be trusted with national security and their checkbook)...

....*PRICELESS*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This rant has nothing to do with 2008. It's about November 2006, and I think this rant is long overdue.

Not a half bad rant.

If you have to get out of bed in the morning would you be rather be a liberal or a conservative? Happy people tend to be conservative. The cranky and angry folks tend to be liberal.

"ports deal"
"NSA surveillance"
"guest worker program"
(for example)...
If it weren't for the lies and spin by the liberal media in their stories and headlines, these would be non-stories.

Almost as sad as the way the liberal media lies and twists topics such as these when they print them is the ignorance of people who buy into their deception and accept their stories as fact or truthful.

The old adage is true; repeat a lie enough times and eventually people will accept as the truth. Does this make me a "Bush bot"? Yea, I guess so. Proud of it, too, if it means I am not sucked into the liberals spin. If GOP suffers this November, it will be a victory for liberals over stupid "conservatives". Not any fault of President Bush.

Thanks, PD. I'm sick of the Kool-Aid drinkers.

We've always heard you can't beat something with nothing and then now we're being told you can get something with nothing. The RATS have NO plan for anything.

Bushbots are shy, secretive creatures. Sightings are rare, except during election season, when apparently they mate and incidences of sightings increase. Natural predator: the pitchfork.

Your right. Perspective is in order. However, this administration does make me crazy sometimes. I swear I will be in line on Nov. 6. Count on it!

Yeah, we got our problems, but the Dems have no ideas and keep acting like it's 1969. And when they got up and clapped when Bush talked about how they stopped Social Security reform, I just about barfed because it's my generation that's going to have to pay for their inaction.

lol.. I hear ya. I gave up fishing before fish gave up on me.

You still got your koi? I remember your dilemna some time back with a predator. I battle raccoons and squirrels myself when the fruit trees are ripe.

I didn't call anyone a name. In fact I was careful not to.

Oh rly.

If you believe any of the last two paragraphs, it only means that you are dumber than you look...you are dumber than Juan Williams looks...If you are one of those people who believe that the Democrats are going to win on November, you probably also think I have an F-14 available to sell to you on E-Bay... Don’t be stupid... Will you just shut-up, already?

Guess what? I'm pretty certain the Dems will pick up seats in November, and I don't think you have an F-14. Nor am I stupid, nor am I an idiot, nor am I nearly as dumb as Juan Williams looks. I don't want the Dems to pick up seats, but unlike you I'm aware that the universe doesn't always unfold the way I want. I'm not going to stay home on Election Day (so much for your strawman), but I don't allow my personal desires to prevent me from objectively assessing the situation and realizing that we have some very endangered incumbents, and we had some dismal recruiting failures that will give otherwise-endangered Democrats in red states free passes to re-election. Put them together, and I repeat, if you think there's more than a minuscule chance that the GOP will come up with a 60-seat majority, you are higher than a kite.

I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. Are you? C'mon, it'd be nice for me to get a little cash to compensate for the disappointment in November.

Who will they hate when Bush and Cheney leave D.C. in January 2009? They sure will be a loss with those 2 are retired and happily living in Texas and Wisconsin!

Still got the Koi, and many more. Technology rescued them from the Herons. If you have raccoons and squirrels, you need a Scarecrow.
