Brown was head of FEMA. Suddenly he had a boss!

Hurt feelings, territorial scuffling, IOW, a pissing match that resulted in harming the President for NO reason at all.

The blame lies entirely with the elected officials in Louisiana.

Morning OldFriend,

You're right, as usual. Brown could have done some things better, but that happens in every situation. Brown certainly did not have the problems with other states, compared to Louisiana, so one has to logically make the assumption the ultimate problem was with the state and not FEMA.

FNS panel (Kristol & Nina Easton) agree that Katrina did a lot of damage to W.

Gulf Coasters by and large hold the locals to blame as upcoming elections will show. Nor is W running for anything, ever again.
