Well, first of all, I agree with you and I don't mean to try to pick a fight, but just for the sake of discussion, isn't that what the Germans said about why they did not stand up to the Nazis? So if they don't stand up against it then doesn't that make them just as guilty?

I don't call it "picking a fight" I call it "having a discussion. As long as it doesn't get personal, fire away. :-)

Yes, it does make them just as guilty. Or, at least complicit in the act.
