I think most Police Officers are gun advocates themselves, only a few think they should eb the only ones allowed to own guns.

Look around, many departments have rules saying the officer must carry off duty, and most even take their weapons on vacation with them.

I think they mostly carry off duty and on vacation in case they run into an old acquaintance. I think most LEO's are 2A advocates, but not the BATFE crowd. They seem to be trying to get up Rosie O'Donnell's skirt lately.
