This could get even worse. Pat's brother was in the SAME PLATOON as he was when he was killed. I'm sure the Army has identified the weapon that killed Pat. Originally, the Army ruled the death as "fratricide". What if it really was fratricide?

What if it really was fratricide? It's not like pistols, matching high velocity slugs is much more difficult. If it was a .50, I doubt it was even recovered. That's also quite likely with 5.56 or 7.62x51.

This could get even worse. Pat's brother was in the SAME PLATOON as he was when he was killed. Didn't it used to be military policy until somewhat recently that close relatives couldn't serve in the same unit?
If so, I don't think they should have changed that policy.
