What is it with the military persecuting their own troops?

i had a buddy who told me this may have been a "jealousy" situation, but I could scarcely believe such a thing...plus the guy who told me this is prone to conspiracy theories..FWIW

All kinds of rumors floating out there. Something about his own brother shooting him.
It's time to end this story NOW.

What is it with the military persecuting their own troops? The MPs on the FOB I was stationed at in Iraq actually got out there radar guns at wrote sppeding tickets for violating a 15mph on base speed limit. They even chased down one of our ambulances carrying wounded soldiers to the battalion aid station and wrote the driver a ticket.

If this is a criminal act then I want these California protestors in chains as well (they've already been identified):

What is it with the military persecuting their own troops? For those who remember the My Lai mess, this is a preemptive strike to keep the media off of their collective ass.
Otherwise, we'd be seeing media flaps like that and more, deserved or not.
If the military does not break the story, they will be accused of a "cover-up" by the MSM.

Oh, I'm sure I'll be pilloried for this, but the problem is women in uniform. It is their presence that creates the culture that leads to this.
