This is something I strenuously object to if reported correctly. Foreign powers have no business hiring American citizens or politicians to lobby on their behalf.
It's bad enough we have huge domestic lobbies; it drowns out individual voices and attempts to manipulate public opinion. It should be outlawed. It won't. We've done gone global, and I guess we have to sit and watch our country be conquered by unchecked immigration and buyouts.
I had some other thoughts but couldn't put them together. Novak (don't know what he is columnist or commentator for) allegedly according to a poster on discussions.bbcamerica.com claimed Clinton tried to secure a job for Joe Lockhart with the UAE, and there were details about the speaking honoraria $300,000 X 2 plus $1 mil to the library. I'd like to find a source for that, if any, tried and failed. Maybe somebody else in the forum picked up on it or it is old news now.

The least the GOP should do, is try to tie the "lobbying scandal" into this.....so the dems will quit saying that it is all a Republican corruption case.
So far we have Bubba, Maddie Notsobright, and Tommy Daschle all tied to this Dubai deal...and Hillary.
Just call on Bill Clinton to give back the money. See how the Dems deal with that.
