Handcuffing the guy, walking to the back of the house, finding your partner shot dead, going back to the handcuffed perp, flipping him face up so he can see you shoot him, and then shoot him, adds up to all the unspoken rules of professional dedication and breaks all the rules of benign political justice.

I really hated to say this as even a remote possibility of such an occurance of my involvement, but the reason I would even consider such an act would be because of the liberal courts having established a president of not dealing with this type situation in a just manner.

Standing up to fanatics entails unpleasantness and in the short run appeasement seems the more prudent way, but in the end it invariably carries a price.
