The above is a quote taken for the article freepers were commenting on earlier. You are taking their reactions out of context. The guys falsely charged with rape (apparently) were identified as being French visitors.
It is not a wild leap to wonder if they were French Muslims since gang rape IS a Muslim activity in France. It is not politically correct; but it is not "knee jerk" or stupid, IMO.

Also, a later article is claiming the sex happened after she passed out and if that is true, it was rape. She was definitely partying with the guys. We have to wait and see if she consented to the sex or not.
