Ritalin is as addictive as meth.
So potheads are entitled to sell dope?

No, I was concerned for your safety. You may want to cut back on the Ritalin.

"Marijuana is a safer drug to treat hyperactivity than Ritalin. "

BS. Pot makes a person stupid. I can't imagine a child trying to concentrate in school stoned on pot.

Really? Are Bill Gates and George Bush stupid?

I can't imagine a child trying to concentrate in school stoned on pot.
Stoned on Ritalin is better?

Sure beats a bottle of MD 20/20!

And, except in the US, you can get it reasonably.

If there were any great amount of real problems with cannabis use - I think it would be showing up in a notable way.

"The latest treatment data indicate that, in 2000, marijuana was the primary drug of abuse in about 15 percent (236,638) of all admissions to treatment facilities in the United States. Marijuana admissions were primarily male (76 percent), White (57 percent), and young (46 percent under 20 years old). Those in treatment for primary marijuana use had begun use at an early age; 56 percent had used it by age 14 and 92 percent had used it by 18..."

Please continue in that vein of avoiding subterfuge, hearsay, and strawmen in your arguments.

I'll leave that to the resident experts.

"in 2000, marijuana was the primary drug of abuse in about 15 percent (236,638) of all admissions to treatment facilities in the United States."

No indication in their source (apparently http://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/teds01/TEDS2K1Index.htm) as to how many of these admissions were court-ordered ... or what constitutes marijuana "abuse" ... so it proves exactly nothing other than that there's serious money to be made "treating" marijuana "abusers".
