This figure shows the ice mass loss in Antarctica as observed by Grace over the period 2002-2005 (see browse image) measured in cubic kilometers per year. The ice mass loss observed contributes about 0.4 millimeters (.016 inches) per year to global sea level rise. Image credit: NASA/JPL/University of Colorado

So what do the blue dots reflect as they show an increase over time.

They need to use the same instrument that showed Greenland's ice mass was growing....I don't buy this tool...

When ice melts, some is converted to water, but much is evaporated. If the melting of the Antarctic ice mass was happening, the humidity would have to go up. Thats where the evaporated water would go.
Its all BS folks but a great way for University researchers to keep their jobs.

Thanks for posting this story, Norm.
The picture found on your link could go a long way to prove the "Moon is made of Green Cheese" theory.

Hmmm... So in 62.5 years, if the current trend continues, sea levels will rise an inch... Wow... That's scary...
So why has Mars been warming?
Could it be the sun?
Hmmm...
Probably.
In 62.5 years the trend could be the exact opposite...

This taken from the Grace mission site:
GRACE, twin satellites launched in March 2002, are making detailed measurements of Earth's gravity field which will lead to discoveries about gravity and Earth's natural systems. These discoveries could have far-reaching benefits to society and the world's population. However, when you scroll thru the site everything is about ice loss. Agenda driven? You bet.

That is about how much water the United States consumes in three months (a cubic kilometer is one trillion liters; approximately 264 billion gallons of water). Drink more water - it's good for the environment.

Sounds like something I might use to calculate how fast I should drink my bourbon before the melting ice ruins the bouquet. Do they sell use of this thing by the hour or by mass measured?
