Yes. But the conflict is between muslims and non-muslims.

Look what is happening in Nigeria and Sudan.

Encroaching muslims eliminating (or attempting to) non-mulsims and imposing Sharia law.

What I see in Sudan is that the conflict between Muslims and non-Muslims was peacefully resolved after almost 50 years of warfare. God willing, the government in Khartoum will keep this peace.
