So, if doing the right thing (and I don't see a real problem with DPW running the operations at the ports), gives the House back to the Dems by say ... 15 or seat majority and the Senate back to the Dems with lets say a 1 or 2 seat majority ... you'd be OK with that?
I understand that we have military bases/ports in UAE and we need them as a strategic post in the Mid-east. But is the Dems take congress in 2006 and then the White house in 2008. I think the least of our worries would be a nuke going off in mid-town or a biological attack in LA. The terrorists WILL BE THE DEMS.
Say goodbye to any tax reform (aka permanent death tax elimination), goodbye to any more constructionist judges, goodbye a lot of civil liberties, hello to the Fairness Doctrine (goodbye to talk radio and Conservative Internet sites), and most importantly GOODBYE TO THE 2ND AMENDMENT.

All that, and there'll still be nukes going off in the country, but just not in Duncan Hunter's district. Any terrorist organization that offers medical insurance and vacations (as does AlQaida) is definitely sophisticated enough to support its friends.
