You make valid points about Cheney. I never was a big fan of his and don't see what he brings to the Administration. He is not a good campaigner, and he can't defend Bush since the media has neutralized him.

I am encouraged that I'm starting to see some articles on how to turn it around on some of the good blogs. For awhile, people were just ignoring the polls, or complaining. We need some strategies to combat the media campaign.

One idea of mine: start to put out that conservatives are not cooperating with the polls so they are all bogus. It won't stop the poll game but it will make the media spend more time defending their poll and less bashing Bush.

The poll is just their performance measure for how well their anti-Bush propaganda is working. That is why they get so gleeful when bad polls. Let's mess with their play book a little.
