Algore is more and more resembling Ezra Pound, an American poet who was living in Italy before and during WW2. Before the war, Pound was a big fan of Mussolini's facism, and during the war, he was an anti-American, anti-semitic propagandist. After the war, he was captured by the U S Forces in Italy, and after a brief incarceration, he was committed to St. Elizabeth's, an insane asylum in Washington, DC. He was released after 12 years there. Is there a St. Elizabeth's moment in Algore's future?
