I'm having his 'mild' on a brisket sandwich as I type.

Real Q is never cooked with a sauce, though it is necessary to add some to a sandwich to moisten the bread, or to sliced Q sometimes to cover up the cooks failures.

And real Q is not pork.

Funny I should go to this thread today. I'm doing a pull pork roast in the oven with secret stuff. I'm using Stubbs and there is no other better for pork. We are going to have southern Barbecue in the middle of winter in Minnesota. Sure, I'd rather cook this on a slow charcoal/hardwood fire for 8 hours, but you adapt and overcome. I'll do that this summer, and it will make you slap your mama.

I'm from the south, and I refuse to eat dull food during the winter. I'll just eat my Barbecue and think about how the weather is in the south.
