Dubai-Bye-Bye Baby - Thursday, March 02, 2006 @ 9:13:22 AM
As we reported last week, the Financial Times is reporting this morning that former President Clinton was involved in steering the Dubai port operations firm on wrapping up its deal.
Where our reports differs with the Financial Times is the timing. Our sources tell us that Clinton's assistance -- and payment of his fees -- came much earlier than two weeks ago. Likewise, so did the fees paid to the Albright Group.
Now, more Clintonista names are being floated: former White House press secretary Joe Lockhart was apparently being floated by his former colleagues for PR assistance. And now we're hearing that former Clinton best bud Vernon Jordan was nosing around looking for a bite of the apple.
Sen. Hillary Clinton's office should be pressed hard on a timeline of just when she was aware of the port deal, what her husband was paid by the UAE government and other entities involved in the deal. We're hearing there is more to come on this story. And it won't be particularly helpful to anyone on any side of the issue.

Seems strange that Hillary was one of the first ones bellowing about this deal, unless the money was only going into Bill's private account.
'Veddy Intuhdestink' Ping
You will not get my vote, Jimmy. My vote will go to Slick. The Democratic Party is pretty much full of only two things, snakes and rats. And in the end of Mother Nature, we have Slick the Snake, who knowingly went after prey, and Jimmuh who turned into the rat that ran around like the rats do in this party. I feel we owe it to the Party spirits that we have come to know, to let it be in the end the way Mother Nature intended it to be, for the snake to eat the rat.
All in the same club.
George and Bill are brothers, remember? That makes Hillary the President's sister-in-law. One big happy family party.

The ring girls...
No more hard questions, that is above my GS level
They are all in the Council on Foreign Relations.
There's a common goal.
But we should rest assured that this deal is on the up-and-up and doesn't pose any security risks.
Don't expect many Bush-Bots to attempt to respond at this thread on some of these reeaaaly 'veddy intuhdestink' revelations.
Bi-partisan means some larger than usual deception is being carried out.
But the inate Bush haters, like you, jumped right in.
Actually I think this is a good report, it shows your heroes the clintons trying to get their palms greased, while the President is for free trade without the palm greasing the Clinton's are practicing.
Funny that "bi-partisanship" has been so demonstrative on this Dubai deal...
The dots connected through our NWO/political elites is becoming MORE bizzare...AND more blatant.
Hey that reminds me...
I wonder where I can get an autographed 8x11 glossy of GH Bush and his "adopted son," Slick Willie Clinton hugging and holding hands.
Ask your mistress, hillary.
And isn't THIS interesting (from Novak's columm:)
While Lockhart may have been a bridge too far for DP World, the UAE has reached out to high-priced Washington lobbyists on both sides of the aisle (including Republicans Bob Dole and Vin Weber). Leading the way in putting together the port deal was Jonathan Winer, a leading Democratic lobbyist who spent 10 years as Sen. John Kerry's aide. Winer's associate at the Alston & Bird law firm supporting DP World is Kathryn Marks, who was policy director for then Sen. John Edwards. Former Democratic Rep. Tom Downey, chairman of his own lobbying firm, is also on the Dubai team.
"Strategery" my @ss.
As one of the more notable FROBLS, aren't you usually wearing your apron and serving breakfast to the illegal invaders streaming across the border by this hour?
