I only wish that a tape was made with Blanco and Nagin...then we'd know the REAL story about how local and state officials dropped the Katrina ball!
There was already an off air but on camera comment from Blanco after the flooding where she said (in a whispered tone) that she didn't want to call in the National Guard because she didn't want to put good people in harm's way (not sure if she meant putting soldiers in an area run by thugs or putting "evil" military guys in her port town).
