Gay cowboys... and sheep?
Ugh! Spare us the details.
... Not that there's anything wrong with that...
To: Pharmboy
Hasn't reached here yet. Coupla hours. Looks like a dusting.
And not a sheep in sight, either.

Interesting to note that I went to The Humane Society's web site and could not find the letter. But I did find this:
Young Filmmakers Can Shine a Spotlight on Animal Welfare in the 'Film Your Issue' Competition
For filmmakers, the period between January to March is known as "awards season," when actors, directors, and even make-up artists compete for Golden Globes and Oscars. This year, "awards season" is not limited to major blockbuster films; in fact, "little" movies with a message are contending for the big prizes this season. Think Brokeback Mountain and Good Night, and Good Luck, which were made with comparatively small budgets by Hollywood standards.

We're expecting up to 6" in W. MA but that's over the whole day. The sky now is an unbroken slab of cold slate.

What would the politically correct term be, sheepherders or shepherds? My Wife says it sounds too biblical to call them shepherds.
To: wolfcreek
I think sheepherders IS the more modern term. And if this film had been more biblical, it would have ended with those guys being stoned...and I'm not talking wacky weed.

Tell that to my son's school. Every school district in the Delaware Valley is closed and no precipitation at all here, just overcast. Even my dentist called me to cancel.

"And many also wonder how the filmmakers got the elk to lose its footing and crumple to the ground 'on cue' after being shot." Maybe they actually shot the elk?
Working backwards, tranked the elk, added shot at the right time. "Cued" the shot (sound FX) to the elk's movement.

Wow, and I figured Jake Guyenhall could pleasure himself with the rear of a chihuahua and not have any adverse effects on the dog.
