Rush called the MSM the "drive-by media" today. I think that description is perfectly accurate.

My poll of CBS viewers shows that all three of them think the network stinks, but it's the only channel they can get to come in.

I guess dying a slow death isn't good enough for CBS. They seem to be determined to keep putting the gun to their head and pulling the trigger.

What do you expect from an organization that has two-thirds of its three letter acronym (CBS) as the abbreviation for bullsh$t?

Hasn't stopped every Dim shill and MSM weenie from quoting the poll.

Harry Reid's top talking point today.

It's amazing how new outlets will quote their competitor's polls when they're bashing Pubbies.

Leave the polling to Zogby, Rasmussen, etc...
A news organization conducting a poll is equivalent to creating news instead of reporting news.

Even with C-BS news out of the mix, the generally polling trends aren't looking good for Dubya right now. Even Rasmussen, the pollster many FReepers consider to be the best around, has Bush at 43% in his last poll taken.

...and all the good little networks quoted that poll....but you won't hear a thing about the poll today being skewed..as a matter of fact, they still refer to it as "a poll", or "a recent poll"

Indians Have Favorable Opinions on U.S. & President Bush

A Pew Global Attitudes survey conducted in India found that about seven-in-ten (71%) have a favorable view of the United States. 54% say they have a lot or some confidence that Bush will generally do the right thing in world affairs.

This report was assailed by CBS News as inaccurate, even if not fake by Phil Lacious, head of the network's Center for Bogus Stories. "This report is based on raw Q & A responses," said Lacious. "No one has smoothed the data or made adjustments for bias. So, while technically these data are not fake, their failure to correspond with what we've been reporting indicates that they cannot be accurate."

Lacious vowed that CBS would conduct its own survey. "We've already lined up several experts who know what Indians really think," said Lacious. "With a little effort and creativity we will be able to portray a much more accurate representation of Indian opinion."

Lacious boasted that the CBS survey would also be more cost-effective because all the work would be done in the U.S., thus avoiding any travel expenses.

In-house media polls should be discredited by the fact they're done in-house.

I had to laugh today though. Zogby came out with a poll asking merely the same question (topic was Iraq pullout, polling U.S. soldiers in Iraq), with 5 answers, and John Zogby and the MSNBC anchor at the time (don't know his name, but he looked like a prissy-boy cookie-cutter news guy) were pouring over the results. Each answer had percentiles in the 20 percent range, and they falsely claimed that close to 80% of the service members thinks we should get out of Iraq now.

The CBS poll was hoonest and accurate. I ahve a memo from Bill Burkett that proves it.

I think CBS should be fined and stripped of their licenses to all broadcast rights.
