Now y'all are just getting mean.. Hannity isn't a scholar, he is more akin to a cheerleader or motivational speaker.. IMHO, he should stick to that instead of trying to play the expert in everything.. It was great during the campaign...
I'm not saying he has to 'cheer-lead' this issue, but at least be respectful and understand that your opposition (including the President, Coast Guard, Homeland Security, etc..) may have principled reasons for supporting the deal beyond 'the UAE is a pretty country'.. nor does his opposition think this is about Islam-phobia.

Out of curiousity, why do you assume this? As far as I am concerned, the Coast Guard and Dept. of Homeland Security have no more credibility on this issue than Clinton's FBI did on the issue of TWA 800 when he was president. The reality of the situation is that government agencies with politically appointed or promoted heads aren't going to out contradicting their boss in public regardless of what the reality of the situation is. It is up to us as citizens to be educated on the subject and speak with an informed voice, not parrot the official line of a poltical party when it doesn't make sense.
