Look, I'm all for lockstep rah-rah as long as you're in the right. But in this case, it just kind of smelled. Everyone knows it was an accident- not many of us go hunting, so it's weird to shoot someone in the face, but the way it was reported was like no other case I've read.

I honestly have never heard of anyone having a mild heart attack. You have a heart attack- period. State it like it is. That's how people trust you- just be open.

And furthermore- the guy made a joke about Rush. It was a joke- he didn't say "I'm goign to get a gun and shoot so-and-so", which is a threat. This was a joke. Not a bad one either. We have to keep laughing. Every now and again, a lib makes a joke, and if it's funny- my hat is off to them, because the world is getting afraid to laugh these days.
This was not a threat to Rush's life, as the headline leads one to believe. It's misleading. Rush is in no danger. If you can't laugh about your own VP shooting a man in the face, you're in trouble.
that's funny. i think hunting is a fairly common hobby among conservatives. even if we don't hunt, ourselves, we know plenty of people who do. i don't hunt, personally, but my dad and brother did. odd that you think of hunting as something that not many of us do....

oh i laughed plenty about the hunting accident, mostly the hysterical reaction of the MSM, and people like yourself, who are claiming that the guy almost DIED. that is clearly the leftwing spin on the accident, Hell they were PRAYING that the guy would die so they could inflate the story even more. You can understand why your claims on this thread have raised suspicions about you, as they mirror that of the left wing.
I would beg to differ. I live on the coast, and have never shot at anything. I prefer to get things pre-shot from the store thanks. :)
I've never heard of a hunting stat. Have no idea. I can say with impunity that most of us have never shot someone else in the face by accident? Fair enough?

This is a tangent- but yes, I would wager that most humans in the modern age have never killed a creature for sport. At least not here in the USA. It's a fine sport- mind you,. and I have nothing against it.
My point being that this was not a ho-hum- happenes to everybody accident.

Did you see the photo of his face on drudge? He was covered in shot. Many pieces were left in his body- one of which lodged in his heart and caused an attack. On top of that- he is 74. If that isn't almost dying- I don't know what is. My 74 year old dad could probably withstand a strong wind. At that age, you can't take getting shot many times in your face. you agree?
