What's more, the trade mag Talkers says Stern is still No. 1 among radio talk-show hosts, even though he's only available via satellite. If you want scary, look at who's No. 2: Rush Limbaugh. Man, where's "Deadeye" Dick Cheney when you need him?

Just another example of what the AntiqueMedia considers "acceptable" content for publication. I'm sure the author thought this was funny. I'm NOT laughing. This Clymer would ordinarily only be about as annoying as a pimple on my butt if it were not for the crack about shooting Rush. While there is contact information for him at the end of his column, I would suggest any comments might be directed to "Reader Representative" Ted Diadiun at 216-999-4408, E-mail tdiadiun@plaind.com

Look at the guy. Left is right and right is wrong. Tells a lot about this guy. Also, wouldn't do the job himself because he is probably a "hate guns" nut.

I'm sure Rush has plenty of protection, and will probably get a chuckle out of this.

All 3 of the PD's readers complained about the article.

Man, where's "Deadeye" Dick Cheney when you need him? Lets back up about 8 years and change that around and say that then VP Al-gore was the shooter. Ask yourself if this line would have been uttered:
Look who's No. 2: Dan Rather. Man, where's "Aeadeye" Al Gore when you need him?
Something tells me it wouldn't have...

People should take time to go to their public library, dig out just a few local daily newspapers from the 1950's and 1960's, just can see how intelligently they were written.
The parakeet refuses to crap on the one we've been getting.

I'll cut the guy a little slack, especially considering the number of Democrats I've had on the list for VP Cheney's next hunting trip.

Talkers magazine does not say that Stern's ratings are higher than Rush's. That is obviously impossible as Sirius radio has only 3 million subscribers.

Oh, I'm going to cut him some slack. It's hard not to poke fun at the fact that our VP shot some guy in the face! I mean, how weird is that? But what got me were the press reports. That article that said he was thankful. He was in ICU for privacy. He had a "mild" heart attack. It reminded me of Pravda. Just creepy. Then when he actually came out and they took photos- he was in BAD shape. They should have just been honest. Cheney almost killed the guy. It was an accident, but shouldn't have tried to smooth it over. People aren't stupid. We notice.

Why is this ok, but if I were to call for an ex-presidents wife to have the same thing happen to her I'd be visited by some f.b.i. moron with no sense of humor?

No sh**. I cancelled my paper months ago and I told them why. Dick Fiegler is another worthless moron. Other than his Christmas column he wrote years ago and gets repeated every year, he's a bag of wind.

I'm sure Rush has plenty of protection, and will probably get a chuckle out of this. In my humble opinion, any prominent conservative-leaning commentator needs police protection. If you've read Michelle Malkin's book Unhinged: Exposing Democrats Gone Wild, you know that the Left is very close to actually condoning political assassination to accomplish their aims.

It must be Dick Cheney day over at the DU. I've seen Cheney bashers on numerous threads today.

Well, now we know what the first 30 minutes of Hannity and 90 minutes of tomorrow's Limbaugh show will be about.
