Including the RSA RAND as a "HIGH" yielding currency, is patently ridiculous; to say the least!
Such articles have been on FR for so many years now and completely refuted, that people should now just CCP old posts to this thread. :-)

GOOD! Why should people be allowed to just "walk away" from their debts?

WHY, OH WHY DO YOU ASSUME THAT WE'RE ALL IN DEBT AND HAVE MORTAGES?
Are you a mortgage guy?
I've seen a whole lot of goldbuggers here, but you are the first person to shill for mortgages. LOL
BTW, I don't have one and have NEVER had a balance on any credit card. I bet you can't say the same.

Can you please explain this to me?
On one hand you say home prices are going to dive.
On the other hand you say that lenders want to foreclose on homes.
Why would a bank want to repo a home that is about to lose a good deal of value?

When you get back from Italy, make sure to stop by this thread and fill me in on those corporate insiders who are scamming Fannie and Freddie with mortgage derivatives. I'm dying to hear about it. Caio.

Fannie and Freddie are folding. Not on the MSM news yet. But they have been raped by insiders. Million dollar golden parachutes and all that sort of stuff. They hired 14,000 number crunchers early last year. Nobody is even talking about shredding papers. GiGo. 'All the King's horses . . . ' sound familiar? Fan and Fred have have bloated multi-billion dollar derivative portfolios. They also have questionable accounting regarding those assets. What in the hell are you talking about insiders for - golden parachutes?

What in God's name are you people reading to make these pronouncements? Your friend is ducking the original question, so I'll put it to you: Do YOU have any idea what a "mortgage derivative" is or how one might present a problem for a GSE?
